New Members Orientation
 

About the Ministry:

The New Members Orientation instructors and logistics persons shall be appointed by the Pastor and responsible mainly to the Pastor, to have general oversight of all activities pertaining to new members as they join the church.  Every new member must be advised and encouraged to take their new membership classes.  There shall be no right-hand of fellowship until all classes have been completed.

Ministry Mission:

The New Members Orientation Ministry's mission is to provide a biblically sound foundation that allows new members to Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church to prepare for their spiritual journey of growing into the knowledge of God's will; while developing a sincere fellowship with other believers.

Ministry Objective:

The objective of the New Members Orientation Ministry is to introduce new members to Shiloh's practices and processes for worship services by providing a general overview of Christian stewardship and conduct through classes on roles & responsibilities, salvation, the two natures of man, prayer, and tithing.

These special orientation classes for all new members will give you essential information to help you become a fulfilled, functioning member of our church.  They will show you how to begin building relationships in our church and will help you understand all the benefits and responsibilities of membership.

After you have completed these steps, we will joyfully receive you as a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and you will begin to fully enjoy the benefits and blessings of being a part of our family of friends.

New Members classes are held every Sunday morning at 9:30 am and Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm at our Shiloh North Location.

The New Members Right Hand of Fellowship ceremony is held following Baptism on every first Saturday of the Month at 10:00 am at our Shiloh North Location.
