There are many who deny the true existence of Satan.  These people claim that our ideology or reference of the word Satan signifies the principle of evil – something intangible that floats in the atmosphere and attacks people’s hearts and ultimately impairs their belief in Christ.  However, the existence of Satan cannot be determined by the opinions of man. 

The Bible is the best source available to Christians that accurately outlines the characteristics of Satan, which is why he tries to discredit the Word of God.  Satan is not an intangible being; Satan is not a principle of evil; Satan is a person.
