The Foreign Mission Ministry was established in February 2001. Pastor Daniels was invited to preach in Monrovia, Liberia by the Immanuel Baptist Church where Reverend Rudolph Marsh is the pastor. He met with the religious community, the government and fellowshipped with the Liberian people. As a result of that visit, Shiloh organized a drive to help aid the Liberian people by sending two crates full of supplies including shoes, clothing, medicine, personal items, books, tools, generators and a minivan. As part of our ongoing Foreign Mission work, our Shiloh members and guests contribute from their hearts a special offering each first Sunday. This financial blessing is used to further aid and assist Reverend Marsh and Immanuel Baptist Church in their time of need.
We currently have plans to build a mission station in Monrovia and send missionaries to provide spiritual as well as physical assistance to the Liberian people. The mission to assist the Liberian people is continual with the goal to eventually grow in efforts to assist other countries. “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother (sister) have need, and shutteth up his bowels (heart) of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” 1 John 3:17 |
