To my Shiloh family and friends:

John 11: 21-22

“Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.  But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.”

Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus that their brother Lazarus was sick and He delayed His coming.  Why does Jesus delay His coming especially when we need Him most?  I have learned that a delay is not always a denial.

God knows how to keep us on our knees, developing patience, and keeping our faith in exercise.  Isaiah 30:18b; “…and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.”
