SHILOH BLACK HISTORY MONTH PRESENTION
Shiloh MBC presentations for the Black History Month. The over arching series/theme is called the “Did You Know” BHM series.
The goal is to celebrate Black History Month by highlighting and/or educating the congregation on interesting and relevant topics in our Black history.
- The “Did You Know” series roll-up for the Month:
- 1st Sunday – Black History in Medicine (slight nod to the pandemic) – Deacon Michael Brooks
- 2nd Sunday – Black Lives Matter: A profile of Emmet Till – Minister Darrail Hughes/Youth Ministry
- 3rd Sunday – The Voting Rights Act: Then and Now – Bro. Terrell and Sis. Delariah Jones
- 4th Sunday – History of Gospel Music – Rev. Steven Daniels/Choir
