I would like to wish you all a Happy and prosperous New Year!

I am often asked how to grow spiritually in the Lord. How can I get closer to the Lord in my relationship and my walk? Psalm 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” Our hearts must seek God, for if our heart is seeking God, our feet will not stray from God. But we must also spend time in the Word and treasure it in our hearts. It is not our promises to the Lord, but His promise to us that will give us victory over sin.

In II Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” Each of us as God’s workman will be either approved or ashamed by God. When we study the Word of God and the Holy Spirit guides us to spiritual understanding, and we seek to apply it to our own life according to the will of God. As we rightly use the Word of God, we succeed in overcoming our trials, and we are approval by God.

I am challenging you all to daily study the Word of God, starting with the gospel of Matthew. Impart God’s Word into your heart and establish a relationship with Him that He may teach, guide, and help you to live a healthier spiritual life.
