SUMMARY:Easter Message from Pastor Steve Daniels\, Jr.
DESCRIPTION:To The Beloved Family of God \nChrist’s greatest blessing to humanity comes through the cross.  The cross divides eternity.  I Peter 1:19-20.  Christ was fore ordained as the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world.  This simply means that every sinning person in the Old Testament times would have gone down to the pit the moment he sinned.  If Christ had not been the Savior in eternity before Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden to die for sinners. \nOn the cross\, He was lifted up from the earth.  John 12:32.  On the cross He was acting as our Substitute.  The just was about to die for the unjust.  He was our Representative.  He had become sin for us.  Isaiah 53:10\, God made Jesus’s soul an offering for sin.  When He cried “Father\, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”  He absolutely identified Himself with His people. He had taken the place of sinners.  All of our sins had been placed on Him.  He was the Lamb of God dying for the sins of the world. \nThe resurrection of Christ is the most critical doctrine of the Christian faith.  Everything stands or falls with the Lord’s resurrection.  I Corinthians 15:17 “And if Christ be not raised\, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.”  Without His resurrection we would have no gospel\, no Living Christ\, and no Savior. \nLet us rejoice this Easter that our Lord and Savior died for our sins and was buried\, but three days later He rose from the dead. Because of Christ’s resurrection we that are Christian never view life as ending with death.  This life is not all there is.  We look beyond the sunset towards the sunrise.  We have all eternity to live in Heaven. \nGod Bless you all and Happy Easter! \nPastor Daniels and Family
