JUNETEENTH HOLIDAY In observance of the Juneteenth Holiday, the Shiloh Church Office AND Outreach Center will be CLOSED Thursday, June 19, 2025. What is Juneteenth? Juneteenth (Jubilee Day; Emancipation Day (Texas); Freedom Day; Black Independence Day;) commemorates June 19, 1865, when Maj. Gen. Gordon Granger led Union soldiers into Galveston, Texas, bringing news that slavery in the United States had ended by executive decree.
HIGHER LEARNING GRADUATE RECOGNITION CEREMONY The Higher Learning Ministry will recognize all high school and college graduates on: Sunday, June 22, 2025 During 9:30 AM Worship Service Speaker: Dr. Michael A.
